Kit application
Animal MiRNA Isolation Kit is suitable for the extraction and purification of miRNA from a variety of fresh or frozen animal tissues or cells.
The miRNA purified by Animal miRNA isolation kit can be used in various downstream molecular experiments, such as: RT-PCR, Real Time PCR, Northern Blot, chip analysis, molecular cloning, etc.
It is recommended to use RNase-Free ddH2O to elute RNA for immediate use in downstream experiments or store at -80°C. Under the storage condition of -80℃, RNA can be stored for one year.
Storage and Shelf life
Animal MiRNA Isolation Kit can be stored for 24 months under dry conditions at room temperature (15-25°C), if it needs to be stored for a longer period of time, it can be stored at 2-8°C. Buffer miRL can be placed at 4°C for 1 month after adding β-mercaptoethanol (it is recommended to add it now).

RNA extraction yield and purity

Work Flow
Notes: (Please read the notes carefully before using the kit)
◆ All experimental steps are performed at room temperature (15-25°C) (including centrifugation). Do not use ice bath and low-temperature (4°C) centrifugation.
◆ The sample should avoid repeated freezing and thawing, otherwise the extracted miRNA will be degraded and the extraction amount will also decrease.
◆ The amount of fresh tissue should not exceed 30mg, otherwise it will affect the yield and purity of miRNA.
◆ Before using the kit, add β-mercaptoethanol to Buffer miRL. Add 10μl of β-mercaptoethanol per 1ml of Buffer miRL. It is recommended to prepare it for immediate use. After adding β-mercaptoethanol, Buffer miRL can be stored at 4°C for 1 month.
◆ Before using the kit, add absolute ethanol to Buffer miRW2. Please refer to the label on the reagent bottle for the added amount.

◆ RNA yield and quality are related to the elution volume and the amount of tissue sample. It is recommended to use 30 mg of tissue per 500 μl of Buffer miRL.
◆ Elution volume: The elution volume should not be less than 30μl, otherwise it will affect the RNA recovery efficiency.
◆ Please check the Buffer miRL and Buffer miRW1 in the kit for crystals. If crystals are precipitated after storage at low temperature, you can put the Buffer at room temperature or 37°C for a period of time, dissolve the crystals and mix well before use.
