Product Descprition
Once the biological sample is collected, its RNA becomes quite unstable. Rapidly stabilizing RNA and maintaining RNA expression are the first conditions for obtaining accurate gene expression analysis data. In addition, it is also necessary to prevent the activation of increased or down-regulated gene expression caused by sample processing.

Function |
Quickly penetrate into tissue cells and protect non-frozen cellular RNA from degradation by effectively inhibiting RNase activity
|
Effects | After the tissue sample is obtained, it is not necessary to process the sample immediately, and it is not necessary to freeze the sample in liquid nitrogen |
Benefits | More convenient for subsequent experimental operations;Avoid the inconvenience of using liquid nitrogen or ultra-low temperature refrigerators, and storing different batches of tissue specimens in the protection solution can immediately stop and fix the sequence changes of RNA expression, which can reduce the error between experimental groups . |
RNAlater can be widely used in a variety of vertebrate samples, including brain, heart, kidney, spleen, liver, and lung. After fresh non-frozen tissues are immersed in Buffer RNAlater at a ratio of 1:10, the samples can be stored at room temperature for 1 week, 37°C for 1 day, 4°C for at least 1 month; tissues can be immersed at 4°C at -20°C or store at -80℃ for a long time.

Features&advantages:
Kit Application:
It is used to immediately preserve freshly collected animal tissues and immediately stabilize the RNA in the tissue samples to preserve gene expression profiles.
Preparations before operation:
It is strongly recommended that users read the instructions carefully before using this kit. RNAlater (For RNA Stabilization) is simple, convenient and quick to operate. The instructions provide the correct use of the entire kit. Please prepare necessary experimental materials and equipment before use.
Storage and Shelf life:
It can be stored stably for more than 1 year at room temperature (15-25℃).
Note: Precipitation or crystal precipitation may occur when stored at low temperatures. The precipitate must be completely dissolved at room temperature or 37°C before use.
The following is an analysis of the problems that RNAlater (For RNA Stabilization) may encounter in tissue preservation, and hope it will be helpful to your experiment. In addition, we have dedicated technical support to help you with other experimental or technical problems beyond the operating instructions and problem analysis. If any needs, please contact us: 028-83360257 or E-mali: Tech@foregene.com.
There are usually many factors that affect the quality of RNA, including sample storage conditions, sample storage time, operation, and so on. The following will analyze and discuss the degradation of RNA when RNA is extracted after tissue preservation.
1. The collected animal tissues were not fixed with RNAlater in time.
Recommendation: After collecting animal tissue, immediately soak the tissue in an appropriate amount of Buffer RNAlater.
2. Too many animal tissues used for fixation and soaking.
Suggestion: reduce the amount of animal tissue, or increase the amount of Buffer RNAlater, or use a larger centrifuge tube or larger container for tissue soaking and preservation.
3. The piece of animal tissue used for fixation and immersion is too thick.
Recommendation: Cut the animal tissue block as far as possible to a size less than 0.5 cm on each side, and then completely soak it in an appropriate amount of Buffer RNAlater.
4. The tissue is not completely immersed in Buffer RNAlater.
Suggestion: Make sure that the tissue is completely immersed in Buffer RNAlater; smaller tissues are easy to stick to the container wall or cover. When storing, make sure that all tissues are completely immersed in Buffer RNAlater.
5. The tissue used for fixed preservation is a frozen sample.
Recommendation: Use fresh and unfrozen animal tissue samples for immersion and fixation.
6. The preservation time of immersed and fixed tissue samples exceeds the prescribed time limit.
Recommendation: Ensure the temperature and time limit conditions for sample storage: Samples can be stored at room temperature for 1 week, 37°C for 1 day, 4°C for at least 1 month; tissues can be immersed in 4°C at -20°C or -80°C for a long time save.
7. RNA degradation occurs during RNA purification.
Recommendation: Ensure that all reagents, tubes, etc. are RNase-Free when extracting RNA and no RNase is introduced during the operation; it is recommended to use Foregene Animal Total RNA Isolation Kit for RNA purification.
