Description
The blood sample contains a large number of red blood cells and platelet cells, which makes the blood processing more troublesome. However, the blood genomic DNA extracted by the general method is not high in purity and the content is too low. This kit uses the brand-new Foregene Protease Plus and unique BL1 and BL2 buffer systems, which can completely digest anticoagulated blood and coagulation samples in the shortest time, thereby avoiding DNA degradation to the greatest extent and obtaining the largest amount of genomic DNA. The fast blood processing system and simple spin column operation greatly simplify the extraction of blood genome, so that high-quality, high-purity genomic DNA can be obtained within 40 minutes.
The DNA-only silica gel membrane used in the spin column of this kit is a unique new material of the company, which efficiently and specifically adsorbs DNA, and can remove RNA, impurity proteins, ions and other organic compounds in cells to the greatest extent. The obtained DNA fragments are large, with high purity, stable and reliable quality, and the maximum carrying capacity of a spin column is 80 μg DNA. The obtained DNA can be used for molecular biology experiments such as restriction digestion, PCR, Southern hybridization, library construction and so on. Genomic DNA extraction yield and purity
The extraction yield of blood genomic DNA is related to the tissue source, storage conditions, storage time, dosage and other factors. The purity of the obtained genomic DNA meets the routine molecular biology experiment operation, and OD260/280 is between 1.7-1.9.

Storage and Shelf life
Blood DNA Midi Kit can be stored for 12 months under dry conditions at room temperature (15-25°C); if it needs to be stored for a longer period of time, it can be stored at 2-8°C.
Note: If stored at low temperature, the solution is prone to precipitation. Before use, be sure to place the solution in the kit at room temperature for a period of time. If necessary, preheat it in a 37°C water bath for 10 minutes to dissolve the precipitate, and mix it before use.
The Foregene Protease Plus solution has a unique formula, which is active when stored at room temperature for a long time (3 months); it will be more active and stable when stored at 4°C, so it is recommended to store it at 4°C, remember not to keep it at -20°C.
